بندر کنگ در بخش مرکزی شهرستان بندر لنگه، استان هرمزگان، به دلیل قلعه پرتغالی کنگ شهرتی تاریخی دارد که نشان از حضور استعماری پرتغال در سده‌های شانزدهم و هفدهم میلادی است و از مراکز مهم لنج‌سازی سنتی خلیج فارس بوده. جمعیت آن از ۱۴,۸۸۱ نفر (۱۳۸۵) به ۱۹,۲۱۳ نفر (۱۳۹۵) رسید. در فروردین ۱۴۰۵ (آوریل ۲۰۲۶) در جریان یک درگیری نظامی، کنگ و بندر لنگه مجاور هدف حمله قرار گرفتند (۶ کشته و ۱۷ زخمی).
