بندر دیلم در استان بوشهر، در نزدیکی محل تلاقی مرزهای تاریخی فارس، خوزستان و بختیاری واقع است و مسیر تجاری بازرگانان عرب و لر بوده. در نزدیکی آن بقایای شهرهای باستانی محروبان و سینیز با استحکامات و کاروانسراها قرار دارد. تا سال ۱۳۶۵ جمعیت آن به حدود ۱۲,۹۴۷ نفر رسید.
