History
بندر شهید رجایی در حدود ۱۴ تا ۲۵ کیلومتری غرب بندرعباس، در سواحل شمالی تنگه هرمز واقع شده و بزرگ‌ترین بندر کانتینری ایران است. این بندر که به نام محمدعلی رجایی نام‌گذاری شده، در دهه‌های اخیر گسترش یافته و در سال ۲۰۱۱ رتبه ۴۴ را در میان بزرگ‌ترین بنادر جهان کسب کرد. در فروردین ۱۳۹۹ (آوریل ۲۰۲۰) هدف یک حمله سایبری قرار گرفت و در ۶ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۴ (۲۶ آوریل ۲۰۲۵) دچار انفجار و آتش‌سوزی بزرگی شد که خسارات گسترده‌ای به‌جا گذاشت.
