History
بوشهر از کهنترین بنادر ایران است و ریشه در بندر باستانی ریشهر (نزدیک بوشهر امروزی) دارد؛ در دوران افشاریه و زندیه، بهویژه در زمان نادرشاه، بهعنوان پایگاه نیروی دریایی ایران در خلیج فارس اهمیت یافت. امروزه میزبان نیروگاه اتمی بوشهر نیز هست.
